The Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey ride at the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is outstanding. It is amazing and wonderful and I just had the biggest grin on my face each time I rode it.
When we got to the park with our early admission tickets, everyone and I mean everyone, who had an early admission ticket was running for that ride. Being we only had 20 minutes until our Three Broomsticks breakfast reservation, we did not follow them.
After we finished breakfast and the time was about 9:05, we went to that ride. It was now a 75 minute wait. That is not a typo SEVENTY-FIVE MINUTE wait. So we asked, does the line get any shorter? We were told if you were here all day, come back at 7pm. As it was spring break the park was open til 9pm when it usually closed at 7pm, so the line gets shorter. So we came back at 7pm, the wait was down to 35 minutes. So we got in queue.
I had taken the ride as a single rider earlier in the day, but we overheard someone mention that you missed out on seeing the castle. That is why we went back. Below is the gallery of what I missed as a single rider. I am glad we went into the queue. I could not believe how much the queue wrapped around the back of the castle and into the greenhouse. The good part was that it was a constantly moving line, we didnt have many moments where we were standing still. I am very glad I took my camera in with me to take these pictures, as it is very dark inside the castle, and you are being shuffled along so you don’t have time to focus on the detail.
Now I can focus on the detail of these pictures forever. I was just in awe of the detail of it all.
Click on the image to embiggen. I kept the pictures as large as I could to show detail but it means a slightly large amount of loading time between some pictures. (im not sorry!). After image 20 you need to close the big images and go to the next page to see the remaining images.
